SpellAndShield
Dual wielding is not a proper skill as far as I have heard, then it would make sense that dual wielding contributes to the one handed talent, meaning one would level up one handed talents much more quickly this way? Anyone know?
CamonnaTong
Yeah I think so. Two Glass swords don't equal a Claymore does it? http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif I'm guessing under one-handed there might be perks for it though as well. Has to be an equalizer.
Omeletter
In the demos, Todd was scrolling through the skills tab. As he was passing by One handed, there were 3 or-so branches that were individual. I guess one of it is for Swords/Daggers, second is for Axes/Maces, and third for Dual wielding. How about dual wielding daggers...hopefully they have that.

Actually dagger perks are confirmed to be the stealth tree.
natelovesyou
I would think that it's pretty self-explanatory that if you're holding two one-handed weapons, minus perhaps staves and daggers, it would have course level of THAT skill naturally. And yes, I believe that perk trees branch out into the respective sword, hammer/mace and axe perk paths for one and two-handed weapons, which is cool because it allows you to become more specialized in an otherwise general skill. FreekillX1Alpha
As Nate said, your holding two one-handed weapons; as for daggers... they are a one handed weapon and are under the domain of the one handed weapon; And again as Nate said there are perk branches for individual weapons (Todd used that as an example as how perks worked) Note: check out this page -> http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/420437-the-18-skills-of-skyrim/page__p__3479851__hl__skills__fromsearch__1#entry3479851 it explains more then i can Edited August 21, 2011 by FreekillX1Alpha
