phoneyLogic
But. The PC version wont have a server browser. WTF!?http://bf3blog.com/2011/08/battlefield-3-pc-version-wont-have-in-game-server-browser/ Lets call it Battlefield "Facebook" 3 now.BFFB3, so to speak. :teehee: Well, youth today doesn't just play games. They like to browse them. And they like to connect with friends as well. I think that might be a reason behind this decission. Edited August 22, 2011 by tortured Tomato
Arredamaal
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-08-18-pc-battlefield-3-camaros-on-day-one Obviously you misheard. They are adding Camaros. The PC version of Battlefield 3 will have Camaros - vintage Chevrolet sports cars used as special forces cars in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat - at launch, DICE has revealed. "After the massive feedback from everyone in the community, we are putting in the Camaros as well, on PC," DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson told Gaming Lives. Edit: To avoid confusion, they are adding the Commo Rose, Eurogamer has reporters that are apparently hard of hearing. Gracinfields
Yea the game runs via Battlelog and from what I heared the alpha testers state the game launches in about 4 to 5 seconds from telling it to connect to server. And the game alt tabs out just fine.
WolfySnackrib
NOOO!!!NOOO NOOO DAMN IT! NOOO!!! NOT MATCHMAKING :'(
CommanderCrazy
No wolfy, its not a matchmaking thing. You need to exit the game and use the out of game Battlelog. Well, thats how i think it will work, all i know is that it isnt matchmaking. It will be proven when the beta comes out (soon).
Gracinfields
Actually Alpha used the same thing CC and it doesn't use Match Making at all, instead you choice the server list from Battlelog and the game launches a few seconds after you confirm that is the server you want. What their trying to do is make it easier to find servers to play on then the simple massive long list that most people are use to.
AWarGuy
At least DICE are now thinking about putting mod tools in BF3. http://www.cinemablend.com/games/DICE-Reconsiders-Adding-Mod-Tools-Battlefield-3-34733.html
WolfySnackrib
Phew. You had me worried there for a while. As long as it is not matchmaking I will find it acceptable. Because matchmaking... it's just unacceptable. Whoever thought that concept up should be executed through scaphism.
