Searcher64
Hello, I found a mod named Warhammer 40K for New Vegas, a total conversion, so I decided to try it out. I went here http://nv40k.com/ and downloaded everything and pasted it all in Data folder. The readme txt told me to use FOMM, so I downloaded it, and installed it. From starting the FOMM, I instantly got confused as to how to function this thing besides the button Deactive and Activate and the checkboxes. I tried to search up on google as to how to use it, but all the guides I found were either outdated, abandoned, or whatever possible reason that wouldn't quality as a good guide, so I came here for help...I hope. Can anyone provide me instructions as to how to get Warhammer 40K Mod to work with FOMM? The txt readme contained no instructions other than "use FOMM to active mod" so I'm very much clueless. http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/28/captureke.png I've gone through the trouble to reinstalling the entire game of F:NV just for this mod....I hope someone will help :wallbash:
ita
FalloutNV.esm should always load first.
scrivener07
What is your exact installation directory. C:\program files\FalloutNV or C:\games\falloutNV.Copy and paste your exact directory. Also ALWAYS load falloutNV.esm first. The package manager is for working with fomod files.

Okay, C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout New Vegas And I don't understand anything about fomod files or package manager or anything, so I'm at ground level for learning this stuff. For the settings, I just left everything as default http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/7886/capturejnv.png http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/9459/capturenho.png Edited August 23, 2011 by Searcher64
scrivener07
First off I would go to Steam and BUY Fallout NV. It is only 20$ right now! Trust me you wont regret paying for it.

Well...I've never liked Steam since I have to go through so much **** to get Steam even running properly. It slows my system down and has too many problems.... LHammonds
I agree with Fonger. You stink of a filthy pirate who somehow managed to pirate New Vegas and the DLCs but not smart enough to realize the pirated games will give you exceptional grief when it comes to getting mods to work properly. Good bye and good riddance. :pirate: LHammonds (File Admin)
