AdamRundolf001
I personally would like a mod that makes you feel the way all of us felt in the Baldur's Gate Trilogy. Starting out pretty much at the mercy of being one shotted by everything. Then being able to just totally obliterate enemies. Like how the bhaalspawn could just gain unbelievable amounts of power out of no where (If you knew what you where doing). And how mage characters could just get completely overpowered by the end of the game. Having spells like the ability to disintegrate enemies into piles of dust and just completely gib them. Or having the ability to turn someone to stone and then shattering the remains with a firebolt (Or the fire arrow spell BG2). I want to truly feel like I was blessed by a god. In D&D, dragons have the natural ability to use magic as their blood is incredibly powerful. Thus the reason why you can make powerful enchanted items with just vials of the stuff. In D&D, not all dragons are bad... take the gold dragons for example... They are naturally lawful good and hate injustice. Different dragons have different stances. There were to types of dragons: Chromatic and Metallic. The most powerful you could get with the dragon species in general was the Ancient Wyrm Gold Dragon Maxing out at a Difficulty class of 26 in the 3rd edition monster manual. Though I was level 18 at the time which is pretty damn high in D&D terms. Although I was playtesting at the time and it was even the stock Ancient Gold Dragon NPC you get in the nwn aurora toolset. AND IT STILL MANAGED TO WIPE MY ASS ALL OVER THE FLOOR! That is how your suppose to make RPG's. heh Bioware... The MASTERS of rpg's. They have a formula that works. eh... i'm just rambling now... dumbfounded at all the complex s#*! you have to memorize in dnd... Skyrim makes it look so simple... and even the skyrim community can't fix what bethesda took out without violating copyright... well you know what the say: "If it's not broke don't fix it." Anyway the mod I actually wanted to see was a mod that reinstates attributes and the class system from oblivion and morrowind in a way similar to the journal of the dragonborn mod. Which adds a completely new menu. Don't know if it would be possible to add new buttons to the skill tree ui that take you to your current attributes and your class. Instead of being active effects in your magic menu...
ironbender800
You might like Requiem. It was created with inspiration from old school RPGs. I can no longer play without it. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19281/?
Capncrass
Yeah, sounds like Requiem is right up your alley. It has all the Munchkinesque charm of D&D with none of the Doritos stains on your character sheet or crawling around on the floor looking for your lost dice. Just don't try to use any other mods in conjunction with it; it conflicts with pretty much everything. Personally I hated it, but I also hated every incarnation of D&D and all the games I've played based on its rulesets.
