LFact
Another thing is, it's not recommended to install the game at default folder when your OS is Windows Vista and 7. Unless you disabled UAC(it's not so recommended either), you will have problem with non-functional mods. Uninstall your game and reinstall it somewhere else. Of course, check your game version after installation and get correct patch, if it is needed.

Ok thanks for this information i will try this, but first i need to know if it can keep my Save files and paste it later in that new Oblivion map in order to continue on my campain? And are all of my saves in the 'Oblivion.esm' file? Thank you Edited August 27, 2011 by maurice9118

SavageArtistry
1. Make sure you install to a non-default file path. For example, install to C:\Games\Oblivion instead of where the game wants to install by default.2. Be sure you have the latest patch for the correct version of the game. Language and whether or not you have Shivering Isles will affect which patch you want to use. Choices can be found here: http://www.bethsoft.com/eng/patches.php3. You can re-use save games from previous installations. They are located at My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves. Copy them somewhere else, reinstall the game, and place the copies back in the folder if they are missing after reinstall. Leave Oblivion.esm alone. It's needed for the game to run.4. You can re-use your installed mods from a previous installation. Save your Data directory from within your main Oblivion directory, then after reinstalling, copy it back in.
