KDStudios
Hey there,So I was wandering through Fallout and something caught my eye... My Restoreout cars looked restored, but the model was completely broke. The model had misaligned parts and the havok collision was completely broken (it was like 3 ft above the car itself) So I took it upon myself to fix my mistake.I Fixed the collision and all model pieces appear to be in the right place. Fired up the geck, loaded the model and boom, crash.I think I may have goofed something in model.Could someone take a look at it and offer suggestions? Ps. I am no modeller and so cannot do a thing in blender to fix this.I did all of this in nifskope, editing and tweaking each mesh. http://www.mediafire.com/?ia92xpzdw3n1deg
Ghogiel
Weird.... I just opened it in the GECK. In the model viewer, ok. So I loaded a test cell, made a new static, loaded the nif, in the little window yep, fine again. Then I dropped it into the cell, and the GECK stopped working and had to close the Geck. Now it won't even open in the model viewer. Like it did before. Not sure what you did to it. Edited August 26, 2011 by Ghogiel
KDStudios
Yeah that's the exact issue I was having with it.I have no idea what I've done to it. Thanks for looking into it though :PI was hoping you'd pop your head in ;)

bunsaki
Hi, for future reference fixing via nifskope:NiTriStrips -> BSShaderPPLightingProperty -> Removed "SF_FACEGEN_SKIN" flag.NiTriStrips -> Name -> Gave each NiTriStrips a unique name. Can be left but vague information on effect:NiTriStrips -> BSShaderPPLightingProperty -> "SF_SHADOW_FRUSTUM" flag. KDStudios
Hmmm, I'll try to remember that :)It's certainly opened my eyes even more now, before I had to make each NiTriStrips have the same name otherwise it would crash the geck, but in this case it's the opposite.
