Iv000
It's very good.I just don't like Nvidia and Intel, that's all.
daventry
As long as this Monster of a PC can hold for the next 4 Years, the Next few Games better Fear me and stay Small with what they need next. :P
jedimembrain
Nvidia 580 is a beast .. Full DX11 support and fermi wear .. AMD can't handle tesselation like Nvidia fermi yet .. maybe in time .. but if your setting up a next gen PC now then you better go with nvidia :P
natelovesyou
It's very good.I just don't like Nvidia and Intel, that's all. :wink:So you prefer ATI and AMD more? I'm curious, why is that? From the research I've found, Nvidia is better for gaming, and Intel has more support. I could be wrong, but I used to research a ton when building a $1600 computer from my brother. But things change.

From the research I've found, Nvidia is better for gaming, and Intel has more support. I could be wrong, but I used to research a ton when building a $1600 computer from my brother. But things change.Mostly because it's cheaper. The six core 970 i7 costs 3 times the price of the 1090T.Same with GPU's Nvidia's cost 2 or 3 times more. I think AMD is better for normal gaming and 3D modeling/photoshop etc.I know that Nvidia and Intel are performance wise better, but they are too expensive to buy just for gaming and art. ginnyfizz
I myself am no expert, but the guy who built my rig is and he says AMD/ATI all the way, he has had a lot of reports from gamers saying that the supposed superiority of Intel & Nvidia is a myth. Created, he believes, to kid people into paying a lot more, thinking "expensive is bound to be better."
jedimembrain
I would agree with that for the most part .. Nvidia has better support for shader features .. like SSAO .. but since DX11 and tesselation the benchmarks arnt looking to good for AMD .. I'm sure that will change at some point .. they do compete with each other .. ATI had an up point in 2000 and now Nvidia has the edge .. things change .. but I still advise against paying for an AMD card when preparing for a next gen ready system since AMD drops about 40-50% when tesselation is turned on .. where Nvidia only looses about 15% http://www.brightsideofnews.com/Data/2010_1_18/nVidia-GF100-Architecture-Alea-iacta-est/NVDA_GF100_Tessellation_2_6.jpg
