Telogenesis
Im having a problem with getting 7zip installed correctly onto my windows 7 system, i had 7zip on my windows Xp and it worked fine. The problem i find id that even after i installed the correct version for windows 7 i still can not open 7zip archives like i used to on Xp, this is the only way i know how to do it, right click the file and click the extract here or to this location option , i dont even get that on windows 7 now. ive tried to open the archives in the 7zip file manager and i cant get it to open the selection window where i can select the proper file to open, instead i get a full list of archives on my torrent downloader. Can anyone help me with this?
eric31415
Are you running a Torrent version of the game?
jhardingame
Are you running a Torrent version of the game? 7-zip isn't a game, it's a file opening program. @OP: Is your Windows 7 a 64-bit version? If so, download the files for a 64bit os system.

bben46
I use 7-zip (64 bit) with Win7 x64 and it works fine for me. Do you have the 64 bit version or 32 bit version of Win7? And have you installed the proper version of 7-zip - either 64 bit (x64) or 32 bit (x86) to go with your version of Win7? Note: the x86 is an older nomenclature referring back to the instruction set for the 16 bit 8086 chip. For some reason, Intel changed the nomenclature with the 64 to refer to the number of bits instead of the instruction set used.
