hoofhearted4
so ya, trying to clean up my laptop a bit. did some full scans with the three programs i use, did a defrag, ran CCleaner, and i was now looking at my Programs, and was gunna uninstall things i didnt think i needed. uninstalled a couple of things, but there are many things in that list idk what they are. im assuming some are there by default. im assuming some of those are there as clutter, but im also guessing i dont need some of them, even if they came with my laptop. just wondering if there is any way to know which of those i dont need. i dont wanna delete something and have it mess up my PC or the way it runs or something :P thanks for ur help :)
Fonger
since you didn't list them consider googling each of them to see what they do
hoofhearted4
a lot of them are Asus this an that (my laptop is an Asus) some are Microsoft some are Apple, then some that dont rings bells like ATK, aVinci CyberLink, Galapago, ITECIR, MediaBar, and many more. what i dont want to do is uninstall something that another program requires. something that came with the computer and even though ive never used it, maybe something else needs it, idk lol. just dont wanna uninstall the wrong stuff, but i wanna clean up my laptop right now to the bare minimums, and by that i mean, keeping my games and programs i use and all the essentials of course, but getting rid of all the junk that was probably added when i downloaded something else at some point in time you know?! :P
