asrk790
What happened was i stopped playing oblivion for a while and obmm worked just fine before. after a while and i came back to oblivion, i downloaded some new mods and put them into the data folder. the problem is, the new esp files do not show up on the list in obmm. neither does new activated omod files. does anyone know what the problem is? please help! eric31415
My early suspicion is that this is a UAC issue. Do you use Vista or Win7? If so, where is the game installed?

eric31415
To help troubleshoot the problem; Open OBMM and activate a mod that you downloaded and installed as an OMOD. Make sure it's a mod that will contain an esp (texture replacers usually don't). Do you get any error messages? Does the esp show in the left- hand window? If the esp doesn't show in the left window, open your Oblivion/Data file and see if it shows there. Are you able to activate / deactivate mods that you DL'd earlier? I don't have much experience with XP, but on Win7 i'd also try running OBMM as administrator and checking the security tab to make sure it has full read-write priveleges. asrk790
if i make an omod using mod manage and install it, the esp files show up on the left hand lift. but if it's an omod file i downloaded or just putting esp into the data folder, then the esp files will not show up. there are no error messages or any warnings that pop up
eric31415
Make sure you are installing the OMODs correctly. Use the "load" button at the bottom of OBMM's window to import a newly downloaded OMOD. It should appear in the right-side window. Now double-click to activate. If the new mod contains an esp, it will now show on the left.
