Game Crash Help!!

My game crashed when i try to change my weapon

can anyone help me

What platform? What weapons? Running any mods? What game version? Has it worked before? How are you changing weapons? Going into your inventory and switching weapons, or, hitting a hotkey? Not a summoned weapon by any chance is it?

there modded weapons

i have latest version of oblivion

i go in inventory i tried hotkeys but the game still crashed

the weapons are not summoned

before this happened i uninstalled some expansions and installed the unofficial oblivion patch

Platform= PC, XBox, PS3 NOTE: We only support PC here. For the others you need to go somewhere else.

Operating system=WinXP, Vista, Win7, Other

Version = Original DVD, Game of the Year on DVD, Steam with/without Game of the Year, D2D, Other

What mods do you have? - we need a complete list in load order format - the game data list is NOT in load order

What mods or specific weapons are giving problems? Does it do this with any weapon? or just certain weapons?

 

Do you use OBSE? OBMM? BOSS? Wrye Bash? something else? to help manage mods?

it crashes with all weapons except the one that is currently equipped

 

i use OBSE and OBMM

the nvidia black screen fix is contained within the unofficial patch

 

run that load order through BOSS (you can run it from within OBMM once BOSS is installed properly

 

and deal with any warnings BOSS gives you

 

then

 

download and install Wrye Bash

 

that load order is far too long not to have a Bashed Patch (from wrye bash)

 

BTW within the (re)creation of the bashed patch is an option to enable the nvidia black screen fix too -- but this particular variant of the black screen fix will fix ALL occurrences of it within your load order.

i just did what you said and i don't really know whats thet meant to do
