F1 2011

Like I said earlier, yes, and very compatible-feels like it was actualy designed for the 360 controller then adapted to other devices, you'll have no probs with it, but I'd still recomend the Razer Onza controller as it's simply a bit lighter, a bit more comfortable, and lacks the vanilla X360 remote's unfortunate habit of devouring whole piles of batteries.

Hmm that's official I'm getting 2010 for pc and 2011 for psvita.  One question is it Compatible with the 360 controller, if it is its a sure buy for me

And indeed impressive AI, puts most racers to shame.

F1 2010 is fine with a 360 controller, you do have to be gentle with the throttle trigger though, it's a little lively. You have to feed the power in rather than just boot it, even with traction control you can end up facing the wrong way if you're not gentle with it. The best controller for it is a good force feedback wheel, it makes a hell of a difference.

I had a lot of Practice with a controller and gt5, when it comes to touch sensitivity. Infact i once out run a person using a wheel online. Its just a matter of skill.

One thing about gt5 is that they had Oversteer and fishtailing Physics dead on. It nearly Felt like the real thing. Even on a controller.

Yeah, I only do racers on '360 because of the controls, if they had Xbox360 style triggers on a PS3 I'd buy one and GT5 within a week, since it's undeniably one of the best racers in the world, but I really, really dislike the dualshock, with it's on-or-off throttle making the majority of racers unplayable.

Gotta be a little careful with F-1 cars, ease your way up to race pace when you get the game instead of thumping it from the start, they only weigh 640 KGs and have over 600 horsepower, they can be... lively at the best of times.

That may have been to do with licencing, Sony is a bit of a naughty word with some people right now, especialy now that F1 is sovereign Codies territory. But I agree, I'd say Mclaren, since they're always had a fairly strong package down through the years, or looking further back, Lotus, Tyrell or Williams, but anyone BUT Ferrari, who've been pretty hit N miss for a long time now(their aerodynamics are abysmal and have been for many years)

For starting off try the Sauber, it gets it's power down well and has good downforce, a trainer car if ever one existed. It's not terribly fast, but it's slavish obedience lets you thrash it to within an inch of it's limits with little effort, which makes up for it's poor starting stats, especialy on tracks requiring bravery on the brakes, like India and Canada. My advice to you Thor is choose your team carefully-once you pick it's 18 races before you can change your mind and you have to take care of your reputation or you'll be getting a lot of offers from Hispania.

Always do a good long run with a car before you commit to that team-the Sauber for example punches above it's weight in short sprints but it's tyre wear is absolutely laughable and makes it completely useless on race day. Always check out your options in Proving Grounds before you commit to a choice, and always do a nice long run in the car as your test-make sure you wear out a set of tyres with it, because you'll be doing long runs in Career and tyre wear can make or break a race, and all cars handle utterly diferently at diferent stages of fuel load and tyre wear.(A Formula One get's over a hundred kilos heavier on race day relative to Qualifying, Martin Brundle once described a full fuel load's effects as "piling a few good-sized Rugby players on the back" an effect simulated in game)

Bottom line is, here, recon and knowledge are power, and the diference between doing strongly, and OMGWTHBBQOWNING is knowledge and car data.
