LCRO775
Hello I need a ew computer for skyrim. My computer processor, graphics are all outdated and not even worth mentioning. I don't know much about computers but I know a little. I'm looking for a good build that has a good processor(Dual core or Quad), with sufficient hardware that I can either start gaming with are build up on. I know how to install memory and grahics cards, power supplies, so if you guys could look at the listings I post could you please tell me if they are worth buying and putting a new graphics card in them. At any time you would like to say don't take that deal just say dont do it... Explain if you will because when I read sytem specs most of the time its jargin to me and I don't get it. Listing below. http://houston.craigslist.org/sys/2571493912.html Number 2 http://houston.craigslist.org/sys/2615110622.html

Illiad86
Sorry to say dear, all of those are pretty old. The last one you listed (the XPS) has a Pentium D and a 7800GTX...very old slow parts. For $200 it's good to go on the Internet and that's about it...it would struggle with nearly all games out these days. Also, Dell computers, you can upgrade them. But, these ones you listed are very old...you would be lucky to find parts for it. Most Dell's also use the BTX style of case and motherboard...and the last I checked you can't purchase BTX motherboards and PSUs...it's Dell's design or something. What is in your current system? Your parts could be newer than these you listed. You are better off building your own computer...Dells and HPs will just give you headaches in the long run. hector530
"WINDOWS 7 COMPATIBLE" i thought this was funny also i dont think craigslist would be a good placed to find a PC Edited September 27, 2011 by hector530
Iv000
I wouldn't get any of those. They are all very weak, and used. (tip: never buy a used PC)Buying a whole PC is mostly a ripoff, you get a good processor but a bad graphics card, and it's mostly expensive.I recommend buying parts and then putting them together. It costs less and the result is a lot better. How much money are you willing to spend on a PC?

The reason I'm obviously trying to buy cheap is im impatient. Heheheh yes I should probably wait a month and save I do have a job but I also want your opinions and tips in picking one. I don't just want the graphics to be good. I want a computer that can handle all the npc's animations and not lag up due to crappy processor strength . Someone told me my old computer can display good graphics its just the old processor that causes it to lag when lots of animations happen like fighting mutliple enemies. Veryyyy annoying. hector530
i think you'd be way better off going to newegg or tigerdirect and looking through their 500 or less PCs
Iv000
If you really want to buy a whole PC, I'd recommend something like this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883108459 And replacing the graphics card with a better one, personally recommending a Sapphire 6850, if you want to play the game on very high detail.Or if you want to be cheap, a 4870 should be enough for high-ish detail (without AA and AF)
