omega33655
Hello all, I am a huge fan of the Fallout series as well as the Elder Scrolls. I was thinking about how I've never really liked the armors in the Fallout games (except power armors). so i was thinking how bad ass it would be if my character "found" a medieval metal armor in the wastelands.... i have NEVER taken a serious shot at modding myself, if i could be pointed at the right direction i am sure i could give it a shot. however, i thought i would perhaps give someone with more experience a request? could any armors from Oblivion be brought into FNV? i would love to see that. thanks!!! micalov
Yes Oblivion armors can be converted to fo3/NV there is already quite allot of examples of conversions, can ppl convert base (ie steel, iron armor etc etc) to fo3/NV and release them? Nope they can convert for personal use but not distribute them because it breaches copyright. So in short for a conversion is has to be a player made mod that does not use base oblivion assets before it can be uploaded if it is converted, also they obviously need permission as well from the original author of the mod. ozziefire
I seem to remember that armor being made for Oblivion.Yeah it is, but no ones ported it over, although it looks like the meshes& textures are able to be used with permission, I'm too flat out learning the coding side to learn Blender & Nifskope :/ http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19757&navtag=file/images.php?id=19757&tab=3 http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19605&navtag=file/images.php?id=19605&tab=3 http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22959&navtag=file/images.php?id=22959&tab=
dragbody
If Medieval armor is what you're after, check out the Legion Power Armor I've just uploaded a few days ago. It has that sort of feel to it.
