Milata
Hi, i was wondering if there are any mods that replaces NPC's easier on the eyes? Like a mod that replaces a Females Hair with custom hair styles and a more pleasing face?, (Taking a custom hair or face pack and applying it to NPC's through out oblivion)
jamochawoke
There's quite a few such as Beautiful People mod. But I've found that most of them do some strange things like add face textures that affect both males and females (so it looks like all the males in the game have lipstick on) or they just adjust the age sliders down to minimum... and you lose quite a bunch of the "colorful" characters of the game. I'm working on this problem myself by hand-making NPCs... but only the ones that really stand out due to position/quests/et cetera. So as a whole the game will feel more "beautiful". Don't worry I'll be releasing eventually. Edited October 8, 2011 by jamochawoke

All males and females from same race share same facial texture and head mesh. So you can't give them male-only/female-only texture unless you make male-only/female-only race. (And to make duplicated races recognized as stock race, you have to edit all dialogues, or use OBSE function 'SetRaceAlias')

jamochawoke
That's why I don't like most of those mods  I have, however, found ways of using some slightly better textures and improving the looks of NPCs without making legions of drag-queens :P

LFact
- Beautiful People, if you mean this mod, it is nothing but a cosmetic mod. It does not change any NPC, other than our beloved Madgod's eyes.- Another thing you may consider is that stock NPCs use pre-generated detail textures, so Facegen skintone sliders won't work unless you replace them with dummy ones. Milata
So are there any mods that replace NPC faces and hair?
LFact
So are there any mods that replace NPC faces and hair? 1. Search for XEO. The latest version I checked was XEOSP1, but there maybe newer one. Of course, you may not like the faces.2. Beautiful women and handsome gents revised3. TNR(Tamriel NPCs Revamped) - maybe the most well-known one. IIRC, 2 and 3 do not give new hairs and eyes, because they are usually dependant on cosmetic mod. However, if you use COBL and cosmetic resource, there's modified TNR plugin that gives custom hairs and eyes.
