BuckeyeTiba Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 I don't want to play any previous Elder Scrolls until Skyrim comes out so I don't ruin the mood/anticipation of it, but how about the Witcher 2? That's on the top of my list, but I the only thing holding me back is, since Witcher 2 is an RPG, playing it might take me out of the RPG "mood" before Skyrim comes out. Any advice/suggestions? angelfenriz Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 My RPG phases last quite awhile then I'll hit a shooter for a few months. If you get burned out quick then I would pick up a shooter to last you till Skyrim. Rage just came out and it looks pretty good. Me? I've been dealing with with life, making tweaks to my PC to get ready, and talking to the fine people of this forum. I've also been playing a few rpgs when I have time. elderiii Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 I find that I like to mix my game styles up a little bit... aka, play a FPS, then play a RPG, then a little of a sports or racing game etc... I definitely tend to drop the most hours on a good RPG or MMO, but a good co-op FPS can take allot of my time as well. Whatever the case may be, unless you have 50-60 hours a week to devote to gaming... I would not advise getting an immersive game like The Witcher 2 this close to Skyrim..... it's a good game, but with Skyrim 1 month away, I would go for something a little different myself. D: But what to do to keep busy before Skyrim comes out..hmmmm.......the Witcher 2 was fun and I spent many many long hours and did every quest (there are two possible endings and many possible outcomes for quests). You could fill your time up with that but be warned...you might get just as obsessed as you would with Skyrim. For me I really got into it when I go to Flotsam. About 2hrs (if even) into it. I'm in college so it has been keeping me really busy and I haven't had a free weekend, but when I do I've been spending my time watching movies. I recommend Dragon Age 2 if you haven't played it (I liked it though I liked 1 better). I have put into that game at least 160hrs with all my playthroughs so that can pass the time...You can have fun killing things or errrm people in Assassin's Creed :D I still have to finish Brotherhood.
