dapdelval Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 its pretty much about what type of sword is skyrims teel sword (the one that appears in the trailer)it could be an european broadsword but the blade part right above the crossguard its "crooked" or "wavy looking", the handle is hand and a half long not single handed and the pomel is not circular so my other guess is a kind of broad viking sword because it says its a nordic weapon... so before i get into more details ill let you share your opinion of what kind of sword is the steel sword from skyrim looks like Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

elderiii Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 looks like a combination of a bastard sword and a nordic sword to me... although it's abit broader from hilt to tip and not tapered as much - it would appear to be designed by slashing and chopping at the enemy more than thrusting.
