huntsman2310a
I had an excellent save, which I had sunk 15 hours into over the course of two weeks. It was all wiped out when the computer decided to completely shutdown in the middle of it. Now I want to ask this: Is a copy of every save kept on the Steam Cloud? Because if it is, then I could just restore it using that.
scrivener07
I think steam cloud is disabled for Fallout NV. I remember there being a bunch of issues with it on release and I had since disabled it myself. Not sure but I think they solved the steam cloud issues by removing the service all together for everyone. The option is grayed out in my steam client. scrivener07
To answer op Im really not sure how Steam Cloud works but you could try checking "C:\Users\*Your User Name*\Documents\My Games" to see if any of your saves are hiding there. Ever since launch Ive been to paranoid to use Steam Cloud but if its working now for this long Im also curious how it works and what it does exactly. n0t0ryczny
So despite all the information on save corruption you were playing using only one slot?
