jamochawoke
Ok. Thanks! Here's the file: http://www.4shared.com/file/D9hkOZUT/RefractionSphere.html Things to note:* I haven't finished the texturing placement yet so it looks kind of strange in-game but more or less has the effect I want. I just need to learn how to stretch the textures out further over the mesh because they are so small normal UVW mapping isn't really working. Either way you can see the animation run in wireframe mode if you have to.* The animation runs pretty fast as it's only 1.5 seconds or so long but it's looped correctly. Once I had a working export I was going to lengthen the time so it's not so fast.* I haven't added havok collision yet to form the actual "barrier". I was just trying to see if I could get the animation to export.* Right now this fits perfectly over a priory chapel mesh, which is what I was going to have the barrier over. alonsomartinez
And Fixed : http://www.4shared.c...ionSphere.html? Here is a video of your animation in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKmsPu47DbI You will have to fix the texture paths. I had to add my own textures, since you didnt send me yours. Good luck with your mod. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif Edited October 15, 2011 by alonsomartinez

alonsomartinez
DUDE YOU ARE AWESOME! How did you do that? Magic, and I sacrificed a small scamp. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif I just edited your nif file. You had some weird things going on in there o.O
jamochawoke
No but seriously, I need to know what you did. I made a backup of your fixed file (THANK YOU) but I noticed that there's a problem with my animation where instead of rotating 90 degrees it does -90 on a keyframe then does 180 the next keyframe. So I loaded it back up into Blender and re-exported it. Same exact problem!
alonsomartinez
I did not edit your animation rotation values. It is either the Blender animation export error or the loop of the animation causes it to do that. My guess is that it is the export error. jamochawoke
I figured out what you did (and the rotation values were messed up to begin with, I had animated it incorrectly) and was able to duplicate it, reanimate the objects, and retexture them and used some funky emitter stuff in NifSkope and now it looks REALLLY good! Thanks man, I was so stumped on this you saved me hours and hours of headache. Much <3 and kudos!
iceburg
Could either of you help me? I'm struggling with the exact same problem. I really want to learn what I'm doing wrong / how to fix the problem. The file animates fine in blender and nifskope, but doesn't show up in game.Alonsomarinez, if you could fix my nif, and/or tell me what's wrong, that would be stupendous! Also, Jamochawoke, if you could tell me how you fixed your problem, I'd be sooo grateful! Thanks guys, I really really appreciate it,Icebug EDIT: Never mind, a friend fixed it. Thanks though! Edited January 20, 2012 by iceburg
