indycurt
Hello all! Don't know what is wrong. . .I've started creating a new house mod in the Skyrim CK. After a got a fair amount done, I wanted to go in game to take a look at it. Start Skyrim, at the intro screen I pull up the console screen and type in COC and the name of the house. It goes nowhere. I get a bunch of text that scrolls up with 0 values (usually happens when you mistype something). But I've spelled the house name exactly and I can't get it to load to test. I tried other known cells and they load like normal, but try mine and nothing. Any ideas what is happening? Am I overlooking something? Thanks in advance! IsharaMeradin
COC using the cell name rather than the location name. Example:Location - The Drunken HuntsmanCell name - WhiterunDrunkenHuntsman coc WhiterunDrunkenHuntsman If it is not the case of using the incorrect name, then color me clueless... Deleted11438360User
Just to make sure... You did add a COC marker to the cell, right?
IsharaMeradin
Just to make sure... You did add a COC marker to the cell, right?A COC marker isn't required to COC to a cell. It is helpful, however, to ensure that the character appears on appropriately navmeshed floor. Otherwise a COC will put the character at the last object added to the cell. Deleted11438360User
I never even thought to ever try NOT adding one to an interior, so that's good to know. Come to think of it, you can COC to coordinates so I guess the thought SHOULD have crossed my mind. Oh well, I like my order and my intricate placement of such things! ;) Edited May 31, 2016 by Guest
indycurt
I did not assign a location to this house mod (but then I never do with any mods I create). Also I've tried it both with a coc maker and without. No luck. This is such a mystery. The only thing I've done differently this time is I have created a brand new cell as opposed to just duplicating a cell and clearing it out of any objects. Anybody think that may cause my issue or I didn't set up the cell correctly? Edited May 31, 2016 by indycurt

Deleted11438360User
So you aren't trying to COC to the in-game name and your plugin is activated?
indycurt
Plug in is activated. Also this is an interior cell not a "world space" if that makes any difference.
indycurt
Hey all! Thanks for your input. I just went ahead and reloaded the creation kit. And for whatever reason, my problem is solved. Don't know if it was just another weird thing with the CK, but reinstalling it fixed it. Again, thanks for all of your willingness to help!
