xuz99 Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Hello and thank you for taking some time to look at my post. Although I am new here I was hoping to get some help on a problem I have. I will start from the beginning I have been given a college project for me and a group of friends to create a comic book we all thought to use Fallout: New Vegas being big fans of the game but I was the only one with the pc version so I was saddled with taking all the screens shots for said comic. I didn’t mind I thought It was going to be a piece of cake and I was going to get extra credit for all the shots so I thought no brainer but I have ran into problems I know how to take shots get rid of the HUD move the camera but that’s not the problem it getting the shot ready. For example I need a shot were the main character is training with a group of NCR troops but getting the troops in line or simply spawning them is a huge pain I tried to use player.placeatme command but they just spawn randomly and I cant move them to line up or do exercises I have been using mods to make cretin screens but that only goes so far A few mods that I am using right now For a Few Poses MoreFallout New Vegas Script Extender 2 BetaAnimation Tool/ Umpa Dance Animation NVFallout: New Vegas Facial Expressions/Morph ModFNV PCIDLESA New Weapon House v2.2Adv Recon Stealth Armour v 1.4.4 I am using these mods for the comic book Tools I have being using for this project are Fallout New Vegas Photoshop CS3Comic Life What I am basically trying to say is I need help placing NPCs. making them line up and animating them using the above tools. Pointing me towards tutorials, giving me locations to take shots Ideas for shots, mods to use etc. If given a lot of help from a single person I will even put your name or you’re username (whichever you prefer) in the credits section at the end of each comic Issue that you helped on Any and all help would be very welcome and much appreciated Thank You P.S and if anybody is interested I will even upload the finished comic for anybody to read at the end of February 2012 (that’s the dead line) I will make a poll for yes or no Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JimboUK Posted October 21, 2011 Share Posted October 21, 2011 Have a look at the description page for this mod, you'll see console commands that will let you move the NPCs about. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3231 Another console command that is useful is TFC 1, this does the same as TFC but also freezes everything. It's no good when setting up poses because everything being frozen means the poses won't work but it's handy for when you're all set up to ensure some random NPC or creature doesn't wonder into shot and make a nuisance of itself. Should you wish to make speech bubbles I've found the drawboard feature in this app much easier than using PS. http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm It's like Irfanview only better.
