AnthroAdryn
I've recently installed Fallout 4 on PC, already played quite a bit on PS4 so was wanting to use mods right away. However, none of the mods I've installed appear to be working. A quick tl;dr of what I've tried:Added the necessary lines to Fallout4Custom.ini[Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal=Tried launching multiple ways, i.e. F4SE, Steam, NMMMade sure NMM is up-to-dateMade Bethesda Account and logged in on game and ensured all mods are checkedEnsured there's an * before each mod in the plugins.txt file I'm really not sure why this isn't working. Each time I troubleshoot I've been making a new character, and running through tutorial part, only to find mods still not working, any help is appreciated. EDIT: Went a bit further into game to make sure it wasn't just CBBE and Hair mods not working, my settlement mods aren't working properly either it appears, and custom perk chart. Appears to be all, at least I can't pinpoint a mod that is working. Edited June 2, 2016 by AnthroAdryn

Rabbit1251
Well, it looks to me that you've done pretty much everything that I would have suggested. Is there anything that you can think of in addition to all that you said? Have you checked your Plugins.txt file to see that the plugins are still starred? (They do become unstarred on a frequent basis). I hope this works. The Rabbit

I even try setting to read-only or not before launching, and have tried launching through steam, or with f4se, but always the same thing.
AnthroAdryn
Just going to do a clean install and just download 1 mod at a time and ensure it works before getting a 2nd.
Rabbit1251
F4SE may not work as it is my understanding that it hasn't been upgraded to the latest Steam update as yet. You don't really need it unless any of the mods that you are using requires it. The Rabbit

Sharlikran
Did you make a Bethesda.net account and actually log into it at least once?
QuickKeyzz
I had the same prob after updating with patch v1.5.Read somewhere that FO4 works better when all the textures, meshes etc are compressed into a ba2 file.So as soon as the CK came out I enable each plug-in (mod) one at a time in the CK and put all the loose files for that plug-in (mod) into a ba2 archive. My load times were faster and i do believe all my mods are working.I cant confirm this was indeed the fix to my problem, but after reading somewhere that FO4 was designed to run better with archives than loose files it couldn't hurt to try it.Keep it mind having to archive loose file from others mods is a pain and time consuming.Anyway hope this helps and good luck. Sharlikran
Aside from what QuickKeyzz saud, if it is a loose files issue then this is something to try. I have done testing with INI changes and loose files and it looks like both of these options work. You need to do one or the other but not both. I don't know which works better or why.Option one:Edit your Fallout4.ini in Documents\my games\Fallout4[Archive]sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\Option two:Create a Fallout4Custom.ini in Documents\my games\Fallout4[Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\ There is a video that explains the last option. He doesn't use sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\ but I put it as a safeguard just in case. If Fallout4Custom.ini is like a custom override for all existing INI files, then I would think you need the strings part so the game will still access those files for the DLC. I'm not sure if it's needed or not. Edited June 9, 2016 by Sharlikran
