I know that you know...but...

Greetings.

I know all the right fans already know, but I can't seem to find any decent signs... Could anyone plese tell me whether it looks like Skyrim will be playable from 3rd person (As Fallout 3 / NV was, for examle), or rather unplayable as Oblivion and Morrowind? I mean, sure you could do it, but it was clumsy and any kind of aiming or tryng to pick up items was close to impossible.

So I wonder if anyone knows, and perhaps knows about some video or screen that would show it?

Thanks in advance,

Elvin

They did everything to make sure third person is a viable way of playing. They even made the third person camera shift slightly during combat to a more convenient inclination. The third person animations are realistic. It's good. Many of the reviews make a long drawn-out point of this third person overhaul. Enjoy!!!!! Edited by Jermungand

Thanks for the info, really looks like they put a lot more into it than in their previous titles.

I allways play third person only use first person to pick up small objects.

Well, try to play Oblivion as an archer in third person. Actually any "class" was difficult without 3rd person mods, and while mods are wonderfull, there are difficulties and glitches when you mod so vital parts of the game as this. If there is a good 3rd view, like in their Fallouts, I would be the happiest person ever.

I actually didn't like the 3rd person in Fallout 3 and New Vegas even, it really left me wanting. From the looks of it, Skyrim has really improved upon it. It helps that it's a new engine.
