Innocenceislost
How would it fit into the lore?Institute, man. They haave crazy tech, crazy ideas..... So building compact and efficient weapons would be a logical choice. Think about it. Institute energy weapons can get you so far, however if you run out of fusion cells, you have to make do with local weaponry. So building weapons that are high tech, yet can be fully "compatible" with the wasteland economy and ammo types, is highly logical. That's your lore background right there. FireFangs
Why does a mod has to be immersive to be accepted? This is something that comes around constantly, as if a mod is only valid if it cater to a subjective idea of immersion, which differ for everyone. If someone find a mod non-immersive, it's because that mod doesn't really interest them and they should simply move on. A mod can simply be good, it doesn't need a random and vague explanation as to how it's present in the game world. On topic, I would love to have the M-55 Argus from Mass Effect 3: Leviathan, with an option for the Omni-blade bayonet.
Kamuchi
Immersive, like an alien craft crashing into Boston? oh wait, we coverd that already in Fallout 3 which made more sense with Zeta :pinch: Alien blaster, laser weapons become as common as pipe pistols, N7 weapons aren`t even remotely far fetched as experimental Institude weapons or recoverd from an old pre-war military cache, like an extra room at Fort Strong with a couple more terminal entries telling a short story of a shipment of experimental weapons from a classified project to be distributed along with the nuke launchers as those were experimental aswel. ...and we have immersion coverd
