I'd like to know how a software company can have a copyright claim on digital models of existing, real world items? Copyright law is absolute BS!

I am going to "go out on a limb here" and say that you have never, ever, ever tried to actually model something accurately and detailed, let alone a simple object. Nor have you then spent the countless hours properly texturing said item.

You have no idea how many hours it can take to do it right, even for an expert. THIS is why its illegal to steal said content from other sources without gaining permission. Because most people dont want their hard work re-used without consent. We see the same thing with modders.

Hell, my mods are nothing special really, but it still pisses me off to no end to see some jackass re-uploading them on his site to make money off my work without my permission. Thats bullsh* *.

From what I saw, he only got a warning, because the site he got them from was indeed "free to use", but that site was ripping them off from other games. So its somewhat reasonable that he didn

Oh, boo-hoo. If you don't like other people using your mods, don't upload them. The internet is supposed to be for the free, unrestricted sharing of files.

Oh thank goodness, Episode 2 of

Is officially in the works now!

Just need a few more!

I really do hope this comes back and is updated more! I mean there's only 3 major mods that i'd really even recommend to people and this is #1. This has to be my favorite and most used mod, the mileage i've gotten out of this mod's just about endless. It..... it's honestly got me pissed that it's gone as of now; firearms are very personal to me. That makes this mod just as close, guess we can only help it comes back; the author and the mod alike.

How can you actually say that? Do you really believe this? Imagine for example that a music artist uploaded his work to his website(or youtube account for this matter) so that people can enjoy it, and then some random guy downloaded his music and uploaded it as his own. Would you really be ok with it?

Access to the internet doesn't entitle you to own every piece of data there is in it.

I am 100% with you on this, I'm really hoping it gets brought back and he can continue to update it, this mod has become the core of my gameplay I literally spent 10 hours one week just killing raiders, gunners, and other scum to get more rifles to use to customize the ones I use.

Actually, to the extent that the internet has any intentional purpose, it's purpose is that of ARPAnet - IE communication between military facilities in event of nuclear war...

"The internet is supposed to be for the free, unrestricted sharing of files."

The Internet is often used for the (sometimes unlawful) free and unrestricted sharing of files.

FTFY.

Given the absurdity of the argument, I'm going to assume intentional troll/flamebait.
