ventrilol
Man, I don't know if that happened with any one of you but when I was playing Morrowind and Oblivion, I alwayshad that stress of a ghoul or bandit popping out of nowhere, or even just in Ayleid ruins or any other dungeon.I hope there will still be those terrorific moments, really sometimes that was some Macabre/Horror game for me, Thinking about it, I think that's why I preferred to roll stealth characters, just so I'm the one who knows there's someonethere first, and not the contrary, that prevented some goosebumps for me. Any of you sharing the same kind of stress while playing TES? Or am I the only one that's in some kind ofextreme-trance-roleplay mode And if so, do you think Skyrim content will still be full of those moments, for my part; I hope so. elderiii
Go play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if you want to experience those moments all the time.... Oblivion was candyland in comparison. ;) Or if you really want some games that try to scare you outright there are lots of options.

Pretty scary if you ask me, but nowhere as fun as Oblivion! And the feeling of the environment had something so mysterious i can't even explain it
chikawowwow
Not so much terror, but I've had a lot of 'oh crap' moments with these games. Mainly with the guards on my first play through I'd win -go to another cell- and have to face another 10 of them.Bad times
Namatacka
I never really got stressed playing Oblivion much -- it was mainly the annoyance factor that guards could find me everywhere. Then I downloaded a mod to sort it out :P

But then again, that's really what half of horror games are....just a crapload of "oh crap" moments.
chikawowwow
The other part of the horror is realising that the dragon is actually insulting your haircut when it breathes fire....
hejpadig
I never experienced Oblivion to be creepy man. It was mainly the unexpected traps that made me jump and curse. :P
Adrius2
Francesco's Overhaul added these small black spiders to the dungeons that I'd step on all the time. Always scared the crap outta me.
CrimsonAesyr
I know that feeling, usually it would happen to me when id be dungeoncrawling in Oblivion and like a rat would do that weird leaping thing out of the corner of the screen, it would catch me off guard and id curse.....then id kill it
