grandcrosssteve
Hey all you Nexus Mod magic makers. I'd like to say (for the grateful console community) a BIG thanks to everyone taking extra time to create and extend mods to the XB1 and PS4. From the sounds of it, there have been tons of complaints from the console side of things. To be honest, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm enjoying all the new stuff that can be done, all the boundaries you're helping us stretch, and all the helpful and fun things left to check out. All thanks to people like you. Don't listen to the jerks complaining for the sake of complaining; there are more thankful people out there than there are complainers, believe it or not. With that said, I figured I'd throw my hat into helping make mods for consoles. I have both the XB1 and PC versions. However, my intelligence on the SPECIAL scale right now with the creation kit is sitting at a solid 2. I've made a cheat 'wedding band' to boost defenses to crazy amounts for people that want to get the lay of the land on survival difficulty, but I have some good ideas for what I want to add in with quests, settlements, etc. Problem is, trying to find someplace to gain basic knowledge of the program (CK) is a little crazy. Youtube has some decent videos, but not enough for me to understand how to create basic events, mobs, and other stuff. Do any of you have any suggestions on where to start, or have any direction to send me to on this forum? I'm searching as we speak, so pleeeeeeease go easy on me. Any help in the right direction would be fantastic if you could spare the time! Thanks again, and take 'er easy. GCS
Mavkiel
I'd start with the skyrim guides, its more or less the same tool. So if you encounter something different, it shouldn't be *that* much different. They posted all sorts of guides, from basic quest setup to dungeon design. *edit* If those are the guides you were talking about in youtube, sorry. Figured you might have missed those and focused on pure fallout 4 guides. Edited June 3, 2016 by Mavkiel

I was concentrating solely on Fallout 4 CK tutorials that I didn't even think about the almost identical set ups. Thanks for getting me in the right direction. Gonna check these out and get started on some stuff. :)
BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
Same with fallout 3 and Nevada, to an extant. A lot of information carries over to this new version quite nicely.
RaffTheSweetling
There's a great channel on youtube by a guy who calls himself "Rage Gamer". Highly recommend his tutorials for the info he provides as well as how funny he is. :) (Hope it's ok to post that channel link here.)
