Wow... I'm really really worried about that 6gb size... is it just me or is that really really tiny for how "expansive" they have made Skyrim out to be. Also the graphics I have seen in videos and pictures look way too good to fit on 6gb... can someone please explain this to me to ease my mind?

He meant sixty GB. No, wait...six hundred! A million!

I would assume either a typo, or something fishy.

Maybe that's 6 GB free space for cache while playing, not the game size.

Perhaps...I have no idea, to be honest. Clearly, there's something else to this, since there is much more than six gigs of info in Skyrim to be installed.

Why couldn't he just have skipped the typos?

I have a feeling they're not typos at all, but that they really don't know the requirements yet, and that they basically said something not too far away so we will calm down. And he wrote those requirements so we will keep asking what they mean instead of telling us the requirements will be delayed. He made a theoretical requirements list because he doesn't know the requirements, yet. That's my guess.

When they will release the requirements fully, which should have been by now considering Pete's "soon". Then they will be correct and no questions asked what they mean.

I think I sound a bit like Captain. Obvious in the end, but oh well. :whistling:

Don't want to be one of those guys, but the urge is killing me.

I have 4GB RAM installed, but I'm running Vista 32-bit. Which means it only recognizes around 3.2GB of my RAM. So if I get Windows 7 64-bit, it will recognize the full amount of my RAM?

I have that too, yes if you upgrade to 64-bit windows you can even put more ram into it.I´m going to wait until I try skyrim. Just remembered Gothic 4 needs 4 gb RAM and I still can run it on ultra settings with not problem at all.Just wait and try skyrim if you need to upgrade then upgrade.

No, it will not recognise since the game is designed to only run in 32bit mode. It is extremely unlikely a 64bit exe will ship with the game, if at all. Google Large address aware patches.

I know when I said put more ram into it I was talking about the computer XD not the game and he was talking about his windows 7 not the game itself. Also this specs are strange since the game is 32bit mode how does it need 4 GB RAM, 32bit systems only use 3.5 :S

Because one cannot put 3.5g of ram into a pc. So if it needs more than 3 but less than 4 your only option is 4.

Also, even though Win7-64bit will not make a 32 bit game use anymore ram than Vista32bit it is still a better, more stable OS which is better optimized at ram usage of the OS.

Min install with loading from disc?

I hope your right Lowk and Fang. I've been worried about these specs ever since I heard them say that the xbox and ps3 graphics were going to be close to that of the pc's. All around these specs have dehyped me a little, it sounds like the pc version isn't going to be nearly as optimized as I had thought. But Ive had that feeling for a while.
