reisalomao
Dual core is not same as core 2 duo, right? I hope for many graphical customization in options. Maybe ill run as medium quality :P
VBlackfang
Do you guys think Ultra is gonna need more than 1 Gb GFX? Unless you want to play at 2560x1600, unlikely.

Until the high resolution texture mods hit and then look out..... :D I can't wait for them personally.
Fatalmasterpiece
Don't want to be one of those guys, but the urge is killing me. I have 4GB RAM installed, but I'm running Vista 32-bit. Which means it only recognizes around 3.2GB of my RAM. So if I get Windows 7 64-bit, it will recognize the full amount of my RAM? I have that too, yes if you upgrade to 64-bit windows you can even put more ram into it.I´m going to wait until I try skyrim. Just remembered Gothic 4 needs 4 gb RAM and I still can run it on ultra settings with not problem at all.Just wait and try skyrim if you need to upgrade then upgrade. No, it will not recognise since the game is designed to only run in 32bit mode. It is extremely unlikely a 64bit exe will ship with the game, if at all. Google Large address aware patches.

So you basically mean that it doesn't matter if I get Windows 7, 64.bit so my system recognizes my 4GB RAM or if I keep my Vista 32-bit, which only recognizes like 3.2GB?Will the performance be around the same anyway? I know this isn't the computer thread, sorry. Just need that little answer :)

I know when I said put more ram into it I was talking about the computer XD not the game and he was talking about his windows 7 not the game itself. Also this specs are strange since the game is 32bit mode how does it need 4 GB RAM, 32bit systems only use 3.5 :S Edited October 25, 2011 by scot
graverobberxl
Wow... I'm really really worried about that 6gb size... is it just me or is that really really tiny for how "expansive" they have made Skyrim out to be. Also the graphics I have seen in videos and pictures look way too good to fit on 6gb... can someone please explain this to me to ease my mind? Argomirr
Phew, looks like I'm in the clear. Having to run the game on low to medium graphics is still better than getting another upgrade. Edited October 25, 2011 by Argomirr

I would assume either a typo, or something fishy.
