What does your Skyrim setup look like?

I had to sell my CD player and amplifier recently for financial reasons, meaning I have no hifi in the living room, so I've moved my xbox360 onto my computer desk, routing the sound through the PC and using the VGA input on my 22" monitor. Not as comfortable as the sofa and I'll need to find some way of expanding the network as my PC has only one ethernet port... but it's cool for now :-)

@Mizer: OMG it's green! I love it. Quite an unusual colour.

Got a plush toy in my blurry pic too haha... hanging over the right monitor...

I got that exact same Seagate harddrive that's on top of your rig btw.

Does the soundcard help a lot? I've been considering if it's worth buying one just for perfomance gain...

@Illiad: Thanks, looks a lot better with a real camera though... the lights are way more discreet than they look like in my pic...

My rig is pretty cool and quiet at the moment... very pleased with it.

That's onboard sound in his case. Realtek is pretty good for onboard. A sound card does make quite a difference though. I've had onboard all my computer life and my friend gave me the sound card I have right now. All I can say is...woah. The sound is a bit crisper and since it has more channels than onboard, it can play more sounds at the same time. Helps especially in FPS games...sounds don't cut out when another sound needs to be played. There's a bit of a performance increase as you are not using your RAM. Edited by Illiad86
