DONT FORGET PICTURES, GUYS :teehee:

I'm still working with preparations on my little Skyrim-machine  Almost finished the inside yesterday with a new 6970, a fancontroller, some noisekilling material, fixing and hiding cables, and moving over a bunch of storage-HDD's to a NAS instead. Still some tweaks and addons to be made, especially for cooling those damn GPU's  Will also turn up CPU frequencies to 4+ Ghz now that I'm not running it 24/7 anymore.

Specifications:

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz (Noctua NH-U12P)

Motherboard: Gigabyte EX58-UD5

RAM: 6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600Mhz

Graphics card: XFX HD6990 & HD6970 @ Trifire

Storage: Intel 510 120GB SSD (Windows), Intel X25-M 160GB SSD (Games) & Seagate 7200rpm 1TB (Random crap)

Soundcard: Xonar Essence STX

PSU: Corsair HX 1050W

Case: Fractal Design R2

Monitors: 3x Dell 2209WA Ultrasharp 22"

If anyone else here owns an R2/R3 you might wonder where the hell the HDD-rack has gone. I had to tear it out to fit the HD6990  Improved airflow a LOT anyway, so it was well worth it! Mounted the SSD's under the DVD instad, and the HDD got striped under the "box" :P I'm testing the position, but will most likely build a proper mounting there for it later on as it turned out to work excellently.

Eyefinity sweetspot! Will be awesome!

Did you really need to quote the whole post to say that?

Anyway dayuuuuuum! This is like the definition of stylish. Very nice cabling job... my rig looks like a battleground inside compared to yours.

Also see ya have one of them NZXT Sentry 2s...nice.

Oh, I get it; It's like having a normal screen up front, but the sides are peripheral vision that you don't really focus on. Makes sense  . Sooo jealous. :wallbash:

Yep, it was actually the only fan-controller I could find that would fit behind that door/hatch on my case :whistling: But it turned out to be a very good one, especially with the 5 heat-sensors you could place all around the case and let it adjust your fans speed automatically. Wires were quite short though, at least if you want to hide them :( And the power-cables was a mess, so I had to at least get rid of all the molex-connectors to be able to keep it all hidden in the case.

Also, some "behind the scenes". Not quite as pretty  But it's more organized than it looks!

Well, a pretty normal setup, 24 inch screen, two year old Quad Core with a two week old GTX 570 Phantom that has revived my gaming bug, and for coolness is the steampunk-esque light my grandfather made from a WW1 helmet inner.

I try to get rid of all the blinking LED's cause they wake me up in the middle of the night (my bed's right opposite) That way I can sleep the exact optimum amount, and maximise my game time! :geek:

But I would likely lie awake all night just looking at Mr Bravo's setup. Possibly on that rug.
