Cold Fusion now a reality?

The idea behind it is its portability, meaning it can be implemented in cars or house holds and other businesses, removing the plant all together, if this technology gets small enough In a larger scale they are still working on the output of the cold fusion catalyzer to make it more efficiant i do believe. The future is looking bright for this tech in My Opinion.

Looking around for more youtube videos. Its quite interesting.

I don't know if this kind of stuff is allowed but here. Watch at your own risk.

The end of our power and energy problem may be at a end very sooon Folks, this is a very important break through. Even one for the history books  . Edited by Thor.

either that or the price of nickel will achieve orbital velocity

And that to Eh, there is a saying nothing comes free. Even though it is free :teehee:

The nickel will be a scares thing in the near future, What happened to the nickel. Blame those Cold Fusion plants lol.

Well i guess theres a profit after all

I could think of so many cool ideas how this tech could be used for space traavel, just think about endless energy and the possibility of nickel mining in space lol.

Its a cure for the economy, exploiting space. Space travel made a tad easier since cold fusion is portable.

Not really portable since it would require copious amounts of water (currently) to be turned into steam to power turbines. And there's no way to know how it would react in zero gravity.

Hmm it uses such a little amount of hard water that it doesn't really matter, if you look at the E cat it uses some form of hydrogen in those cylinders.:ermm:Or i could be wrong and it uses Hard water at a such a small rate, if you take a look at the video demonstration it uses a very tiny pin like hose.

read this

and Cold Fusion is going Mainstream

Wow more news, Japans is on the Fusion bandwagon.

Here is a interesting site, Makes this Cold fusion Double legit.

Looks like there is a massive cold fusion race in the works, finally it can be heard around the world. Secrecy isn't needed i guess anymore

This is nothing new, I heard about this thing two years ago, and I thought it was a hoax. Most scientists still believe it's a hoax.

Now to the system.

The generators he is testing have an efficiency of 17.6% (output energy) while the other 82.4% is spent on self-sustaining, which is a very good result. One generator is capable of producing 4.4 kW of output energy, while it spends 20.6 kW on self sustaining, and heat produced by the process itself. It produces minimal amounts of radiation, and it's working temperature outside the thermic isolation is between 30 and 40 degrees celsius. The generator exceedes the performance of a normal nuclear reactor by 15-20%.

Although it has it's upsides, it has it's downsides as well. Replacing the nickel is a pain, the whole generator needs to be taken apart in order to replace it, and it requires large ammounts of water to power turbines which makes it not portable. The idea behind this is not portability, it's size. If a generator is small, you can put, let's say five of them where you would usually put one, allowing you to power five turbines, therefore powering five generators and producing more power while having them in the same space.

@Vagrant0 If they manage to reduce the water consumption it can be used in space. The steam gets out of the generator under high pressure so it would power turbines, even in zero gravity. Pumping the water into the generator isn't a problem either.
