Lukaz141
I've searched the whole web but wasn't able to find a mod which allows you to wear the power armor like it used to be in FO3,Basically without an Exoskeleton, that hud and beeing just bulky and overweighted (in my opinion), just like a normal armor, like it was supposed to be in FO3. Is there something like that out there ?
iXenite
Lore wise, and even by the descriptions of Power Armor in Fallout 3, it makes sense Power Armor is the way it is in Fallout 4. With that said, I haven't noticed any mods that remove the current Power Armor framework to make it like Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Not entirely sure that is possible actually. jarnomiedema
You could always try the CROSS mods, they add sort of a frame upon which you can attach various shrunk Power Armor pieces. It'll make it look sort of like the way Power Armor worked in previous games, but not entirely..
Creepios10
Ive been wanting this since the game came out dont know if its possible but I want it to happen
AishaLove
I imagine someone would have to go through and edit each power armor piece individually and make them into a regular armor piece. Then you would haveto add those new items to the loot tables. This method would leave old power armor intact but allow for the new power armor pieces to be worn like normal armor. AishaLove
I just wanted to bump this and add in my recent thoughts.I think the best way to go about this would be to make a new class of power armor that has the default hud, needs no fusion cores, doesn't slow you down ext...I don't think that we should be concerned for the size of the new armor pieces, I think it would be easier to take the existing pieces and adapt them to be like normal armor pieces, Power armor already supports enough slots to make a full set of normal armor.I kinda like the idea that we might be able to use partial power armor sets. Maybe this new power armor would require some kind of special all slot armor piece that allows for these power armor pieces to be worn over it.Another way might be to just simply make all new armor from scratch that looks the part and is already one set piece.I really hope someone takes up this task, it's about time we had the option to make PA suits armor instead of glorified tanks with legs instead of treads. I don't want a vehicle I want bad ass ironman armor!!!

iXenite
Like this mod? It doesn't seem to support all Power Armor, but what is supported looks awesome. Thanks for sharing! It was posted not too long after this thread was formed too, so that's kind of neat too.
AGreatWeight
After I came upon this thread, it reminded me that I'd once seen a mod that did something similar, but damned if I could remember it's name.Fortunately, I'd had the good sense to download it back when it was released (where it's been languishing in my to-try-out mod list since)Glad I could help!
