jedimembrain
Character creation isn't even -that- in depth this time around. Would have rather they release the working Creation Kit sans content. I'm starting to get your "Devil's Advocate" title
Xochen
I agree.. many open ended games like his that cant have a normal demo have been doing this .. sims 3 pets released a pet creation tool as a demo .. saints row 3 released their character creation tool ..but I doubt this will happen .. meh .. something for them to think about when fallout 4 comes out Don't forget Dragon Age Origins also released a char creating kit before release. I would have loved a Skyrims cc kit, i like to create different kinds of characters and it would save me the 30 minutes or more i intend on spending when it releases! scot
Gothic 4 released a demo, it was only a small island with small quests.Skyrim could do that for console users but would be a waste of time, do we really need a demo to see if the game´s worthy? x)
Jakeschulz
yeah in OXM they said that there will be no demo. i think the reason was because a small demo wouldnt represent the massive game well.

I'm starting to get your "Devil's Advocate" title :rolleyes:Maybe some people just like to argue ;] But I think it would have been great to have the character creation as a demo...and unlike Fatalmasterpiece says, I think it'll still be rather deep. Just because we can't make a character that looks like a retarded, mutilated gourd with every STD known to man doesn't mean it isn't deep...just more refined. Aka, NOT Facegen. Faces look better now, for all races. Oh and beards  what I am wondering about is if the chargen in the CK will have as much ability as Obs does. Perhaps more of a somewhat "educated guess" or hope more than anything.
ShadowscaleB1980
There going to be a demo? I'm anxious to "test" the game....... :psyduck: you're a sucker for punishment, that would be like giving a raging alcoholic a single shot glass of beer to sustain him for a week. It won't be much longer before Skyrim is unleashed upon the world.

Perhaps more of a somewhat "educated guess" or hope more than anything.Either way you look at it Skyrim has less morphing options than previous titles. To create a unique character and be given the full breadth of options you will have to use the kit. The matter of stock/base characters looking better from the get go is irrelevant.
