Delikatessen
Let's hope they apply this to hologram technology like this. (This is actually achieved by projecting a 3D image onto a semi-transparent screen) If they do, I'm painting my walls black and covering them in dark blue LED lights and hanging ultra-violet lights from my ceiling. I'm also going to put my computer in a clear plastic case lined with the same LED lights as mentioned above, and I'm going to live my childhood dream by swiping, expanding and doing other things you see in sci-fi movies of the past. But I guess a 54 inch omni-touchscreen monitor hanging on my wall would be awesome, too.

Delikatessen
very nice but imagine playing a game like that? very hard i would think You wouldn't want to play an FPS or an action RPG like Oblivion or Fallout on it, but could you imagine the Starcraft gameplay? Epic! As an owner of a touchscreen desktop, I can say that it's awesome playing SoaSE on a multi-touch screen, especially with the finger gestures at a resolution of 1920x1080. I still have to use the keyboard for some things like queuing orders, but most of it's controllable with just touching things. It also makes me feel like some sort of evil Star Wars commander looking over a holographic screen touching little Tie fighters to send them to their objective. It takes 10x more Keyboard Hero III skill than any other game out there. This sounds like the iMac mouse all over again. It's small, it looks like super high tech, but in reality it just sucks in terms of efficiency. Edited November 8, 2011 by StormTemplar

Anyone here who has watched James the Angry Nintendo Nerd will remember when he did his segment on the Super Nintendo Power Glove... The most worthless $80 piece of plastic tech you could've ever owned back in that day. :|
