But Fallout 3 was way more well-optimized for the PC than Oblivion alone. That, and Skyrim is the second Elder Scrolls game to come out on the XBOX360, so unlike Oblivion, it hasn't been made without prior knowledge of what their game can be like, so when they had to rush the game and cut content, it happened to the PC version as well.
