Zeus154
Today I wanted to import some weapon sounds from Fallout 3 to New Vegas, but using the G.E.C.K doesn't work.. Can anyone help me?
JimboUK
Have a look in the New Vegas archive first, there is a lot of stuff from FO3 in there that you can use. To use sounds from FO3 you'll have to extract them from the BSA, you can use FOMM for that, don't share them though.
Yoshh
What jim_uk said. You can extract them, but you cannot, under any circumstances, release them here in the Nexus. I'd advise you to use FOMM to do it. It has a built in app called BSA browser. Use that to open up FO3's BSA files and extract the weapon sounds where you want them. It should be pretty straight forward to know in which BSAs the sounds are :)
Fonger
of course it would be interesting to find out what sounds were in FO3 that were not included in Vegas
