What do you drive

I don't drive...don't know how. No one ever properly taught me to do so lol :( But, my boyfriend and I have a 2007 Honda Fit Sport (called the Honda Jazz over the pond). Cool little car, gets great mileage. I'm going to learn on it one day :) It's a manual though lol...I'm afraid I'll burn the clutch out because the only time I did drive a car was a crappy Pontiac Grand Am automatic. Edited by Illiad86

Currently I drive a Honda Accord 2.4 - it has 148 kilowatts so they tell me ... manual, I prefer to power myself and drive rather than be driven ... to each his own.

And I love my car, I hurtle down the highway like a bullet whenever I can ... and rarely pick up speeding tickets ... I almost

bought a Mercedes SLK, but just preferred the Honda ... glad I did.

I have an eleven year old Hyundai Accent, daren't even think how much it is going to cost to get through its' annual test in February - new brakes, sump, exhaust, maybe catalytic converter - but since I'm unemployed now, even if I get a new job very shortly I wouldn't get finance for a new car by Feb - so patch her up it is. She's a damned reliable little runner so while she's only worth crap in one sense, she's worth repairing to me.

I can't resist this one. My main set of wheels is a 86 Suzuki Samurai Hardtop. I have had this little guy for eleven years and it goes anywhere. Almost in mint condition. 4 wheel drive for the winter. But, as I get older (cough!), I am starting to appreciate some some things like...comfort? I have the following features on my dream car.

cruise control: yep, foot propped against gas pedal. :whistling:

air conditioning: sure, 70 mph and all windows open.

power steering: You bet, power by arm strong.

air bags: Only if one is sitting in the passengers seat.

power brakes: yep, got that one.

comfort: rides like a ten ton truck.

But...I get 30 mpg in town and 38 on the highway, best of all...I OWN it.

funny moments: While I was going to college in Seattle, I got pulled over by an officer. He walks up to my window and tells me that I was going to get a ticket for 'exhibition of speed'. Seriously. I looked at him and without hesitation, told him...

" ummm..Officer, no disrespect..but...I have had lawn mowers that have had more power then this little guy. "

Officer: he blinks..looks at my Samurai, then busts out laughing... "OK, I'll buy that...get outa here" and he walks off.

My other set of wheels is an 83 GMC S-15 pick up turned into a little flatbed. the 2.8 V6 has been replaced with a 3.2 Camero V6. Perfect little work truck, and has no problems getting onto the freeway.

Both are in mechanically excellent condition, the GMC is what we used to call a 'Sleeper'. A bit rough on the outside, but high on performance.

Oh no. Old Balagor is fashionable and innovate.

It is an electric bicycle with a battery. When it is uphill I "put the pedal to the metal" and it still feels like downhill.

Runs approx. 40 kilometers on one charge, depending on my own "participation"

Oh ya, don't remind me lol...he was horrible. Then my grandma and my dad tried to teach me...and all they like to do is yell and scream at you for whatever. Still...I feel kinda bad that I'm 25 and I don't know how to drive :( Someday though...I still gotta get over the fear.

Here's a pic of our car :)
