It's like someone making a request for a mod that covers all the women from head to toe in a black sheet and with a slit so only their eyes show, so they can see where they are going... It's just because you know women's bodies are offensive and tempting to men so they should cover up. O.o Is it wrong that I want to respond to that mod request with a "WTF"? Mod requests that try to make a game like Skyrim "PG" rated are like trying to plug holes in a sponge. The entire game is designed around an "MA" rating. Removing 3 or 4 things isn't going to make it "PG." And a mod to remove gay marriage? lol I think the only way to enable gay marriage is to marry a gay guy in your game... It's off by default really. Ceryury Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 Nevertheless it IS a discussion forum and therefore discussing mod proposals are also covered by that (especially if it could help potential modders to get an idea of what people think about a certain idea and how much interest there actually is in something). I'm fairly certain that the player character is required to initiate any homosexual relationships. That said, I find the request apalling and it's clear that if you want such a sheltered, holier-than-thou game, you're not mature enough for 80% of Skyrim. That actually would be a good feature to make it so there is options. I want none, others want reduced. Maybe something like two separate plug in files to chose from, less gore, or no gore. Hard to play a blood and guts roughneck game and not want the blood and guts roughneck bit...in the end, what are you seeking in a game? Perhaps something like fable might even be more your speed. Point is, theres plenty of games that lack mature themes...and if your seeking out good environmental graphics..well hell, just pick up crysis or something. Its their little world, on their computer...they are allowed to do as they wish, be it no gayness, or nothing but gayness. Personally, I am not bothered by it. I won't be using such functionality (unless I decide to try out the female character...then..well, thats erm..anyhow). and I think as pointed out, the gay marriage is more than likely focused only on the PC..so, simply don't choose it..seems simple enough (and telling if you need to have a physical stop else you will..time to be honest with self).
