hoofhearted4
if you can just get the AMD x6 1100T. its the best Phenom on the market. roughly $190 (dunno how many euros that is) if not, id say the 1055T. but honestly, between the two, neither is a bad choice

Been looking some sites and i think it keeps me from updating computer longer than x4. Another question, is 550W power supply enough for that system with geforce gtx 460 and 4gb of ram, one dvd station and 2 old harddrives (im using also win xp, does it matter?) Is there site where i can build system and look how much it needs power?
Illuna
ye x6 is better. and yes 550W should be good. its about 200W per hight power device so 1 GPU + 1CPU = 400W so 150W left for rest should be good

PowderdToastMan
The 980 is actually a better processor than the 1100 check it - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/362?vs=
Erik005
For skyrim I would recommend a quad core either the 975 or 980 The game cant use 6 cores so if you are just buying it for skyrim get the quad.

I'm bit impatient :pinch: Well it will have more future use anyway. Thanks for comments. Can't wait to buy skyrim today. raatorotta
Now, my processor is installed and all, but it keeps a horrible noise? Is it normal? The fan is swinging on fullspeed. Why is this? The Default cooler that came with processor is horrible! It's annoying noisy! and not even cooling the processor enough!
