Darthwump
Wow - I agree this would definitely make me go back and play Dead Money. I never would have thought you touching the original DLCs, but I know your work. You can make anything 1000x better. Here's me praying that you eventually get to a Honest Hearts AWOP. For me, it's by far the best looking original DLC out there and for it to get the full AWOP treatment would be heavenly. It's such a blank canvas for you to work your magic. But I know it would be a serious undertaking and that could easily be another year of your life. Thank you again for everything that you've done. I'm always a huge fan of your stuff. djmystro
Darthwump:Big thanks for the support :)I have been planning an AWOP patch for Honest Hearts too. It'll be very different to the Dead Money patch. The Dead Money patch is designed to compliment the original DLC. In Honest Heart's case I'll be tearing up the landscape placing giant Rumble Zones everywhere built by a sociopathic scientist who hates everyone. It'll have very big under-cluttered areas full of assorted monsters which should contrast nicely with The DM Patch with it's detailed Urban interiors, sparse loot and lack of enemy variety.I also just played and finished OWB for the first time so I may even go as far as that (not that it needs it though). I would give you credit for the mod (I.e. The locations 1, 2, and 3 were based on locations from AWOP Dead Money By djmystro). Omny
Y'know, I recall Dean Domino mentioning once that there are ghost people crawling around in the sewers of Sierra Madre... Why not add a sewer level? Sure its a bit of a video game cliche, but think of the possibilities. It could be a veritable dungeon, crawling with ghost people as well as roaches, scorpions and who knows what else, perhaps a crazed robot or two at the end guarding a special piece of equipment. Maybe a brand-new Ghost Person hazmat suit, or a unique holo-weapon? Then just sprinkle some journals and holotapes left by dead workers for flavor text, and you've got yourself an awesome sewer level. It's not like Sierra Madre isn't already a claustrophobic hellhole anyway.
djmystro
ihazbadluck:Cool, yeah sounds good :)The mod is on hold at the moment whilst I finish some major edits with the original AWOP (nearly finished) but if you would like a preview of what I have done so far so you can check out the locations first hand I can post you an external link. Omny:Thanks for the info :)There's a big Sewer/Metro system planned. It will have Ghost and non-Ghost enemies down there as well as another survivor who lives there and can be met and bartered with. One section of the metro is complete already but it is cut off from the main network of tunnels which will not be accessible in the early stages of the game. Jeux
Screens are looking VERY nice, few modders really pay attention to detail and make use of their environment in a unique way. You seem to have no trouble with that in your works. My only suggestion is this: Keep the loot to a minimum. One of the major gripes with the original AWOP was the amount of loot the player could find, and considering the facts that this is Dead Money AND it will be during the campaign quest, I would highly recommend you be reserved and clever in your consumable/ammo/weapon placements. Can't wait to see the final product!

I also had suggestion, could you add a 1950s style police uniform and hat to the Police Station and scattered around with the dead bodies of officers. I know police hats are present in NV and I think there are several mods that add police uniforms so that shouldn't be to hard. I was also wondering if you could add some hunting shotguns to the police station. I asked because I though it was kinda stupid that the Serria madres police would be using riot armor for regular uniforms and pistols and light machine guns for weapons. djmystro
Jeux:No worries there, loot has been kept to an absolute minimum in order to maintain the Dead Money vibe (and recent AWOP updates should have adressed any balance issues there). ihazbadluck:I'll message you the link to the current version in a min.The Police Hats are already in but I don't think I'm gonna be adding any custom content, just sticking with the DM & FNV assets for now. There is a Hunting Shotgun in the game but it's far into Dean's terrritory in the most dangerous location built so far though you can loot some more weapons from the new Police Training Block (in fact I think every location has one new weapon apart from the very small ones). Thanks for the thread link. I'll check it out when I get some downtime.
