Elderscrolls online worth it?

If you're on the fence about it, consider trying to rent it or something. My local library carries video games for consoles and I tried the game that way. Not sure how many libraries do that though.

If you're just looking for an opinion, then I would say go for it. I enjoy the game. As for the "Unlimited Edition", I'm assuming you're referring to the "Imperial Edition" right? Not really sure if it's worth it for the Imperial Edition. The Imperials are my favorite race in the Elder Scrolls series, but I can't support the practice of locking content like that behind a paywall. It's not in right to me.

At the very least - read up on what the game is. Look up videos and stuff. Specifically, PS4 footage/reviews. Get as much as you can before committing yourself. After all, nobody likes to have buyers remorse.

I think i may look it up a bit, one question the pay wall does that refer to the game play, like a monthly fee. I hope there is no monthly fee, then it would be bust. Hmmm looking for something to spend my time until other big aa titles come out.

Like in the next year or coming August sigh. Ps4 has a lousy library.

It has no required monthly fees. The base game is fairly massive, though there are DLC expansions. You can obtain them by either purchasing Crowns (their Premium currency) that you use to buy the DLC. Or, you can pay a monthly subscription and automatically gain access to the DLC and a monthly stipend of Crowns. I did neither and just played the game - did not feel left out at all.

As a side note about DLC. I really wish you could just get the DLC straight up rather than buying their currency and then use it to get the DLC. It's the extra hoops that makes me dislike it all the more. Either way, like I said earlier you shouldn't feel anything really missing as a result. At least I didn't.
