There will be basements to select few of the buildings. Also, there will be underground caverns that don't go too deep but will be interesting. My hopes are for dwemer caverns with lots of puzzles and interesting new thngs, without being huge.

If there is no "lower" class, dont forget to disperse some nice Clothing. People of Cyrodiil all wear Rags. There are some Exceptions, but even the "rich" People walk around in Clothes with this brownich/greenish color.

I know, you dont have NPCs yet, but you could have some good Clothes lying around in the Houses.

Will the City be somehow accessible by foot? I loved the "Kvatch Rebuild" Mod, i have a companion recruit mod and i resurrect some NPCs which died during quests to recruit them. Then i have them "live" in Kvatch which would be the most populated City in Cyrodiil.

But the "Kvatch" Worldspace resets and disables all the NPCs who are supposed to be dead. Bummer.

So now i have my "undead" walking around in the Temple District.

If you wont build the City on a large Floating Island, there could be a Water Problem. Digging Wells wont work :D

You could build big Pools to catch Rain. This Water would be well guarded of course, just to make sure nobody falls in accidently.

There could be a Problem having Water in the City Space; Well, just build a giant Stone cube. Later, you could have an NPC explain that this is where all the Water is stored :D

Here's the deal on that, I think it is kind of cool. One of the areas, as previously mentioned, is a "Nature Preserve". This area is an indoor open area treated like an exterior, like the Arena except bigger. There's alot of trees and rocks and stuff, and since it's its own worldspace, I can have ground in it (said to be laid out on top of the stones). In the middle, there will be a pond that will "catch rainwater" like you said. This is plausible because it always rains once a week (Turdas, I think). Also in the preservs are various domesticated animals, such as deer, boars, and other edible things. Also, in one corner, there is a farm that raises sheep, makes wine, and grows assorted veggies. Whenever there's, say, a shortage of food or rain, the Riders tale it upon themselves to go and buy whatever the city needs. Not many people, so not much stuff. They hide the dragons in the woods and then walk into town. This adds to the lore about people seeing random dragons in the woods.

And sorry about your companions; they can't come. The city is not accessible by foot for a reason; the lore states that this is to keep the people and dragons safe (a gift from Akatosh). And don't worry, there will be plenty of retextured high-class clothes on the city isle.

I have to say, from what ive seen so far im really interested in what your doing. I freakwently pop in to check how things are going and im really looking forward to seeing the finished product. Not to menchion that for a "in Tamriel" mod its very big. Its probley the biggest i have seen, i think this might just be the best city/town mod out there. (When released) Keep up the good work guys!

Maybe a quest that leads to an access to that city, like some mages from the mages guild somehow travelled there and set up a warp gate/point from the city to the arcane university.

The only thing is, the warp only works at a certain day of the week and after another quest.

Actually, here's the deal. Once the mod is installed, the "regent" of the city (head dragon rider in the Master's absence - Green Rider) will tirelessly search for the player. On foot, to make this more realistic. He will give the player a quest to go to the Shrine of Akatosh and pray. The player will recieve a blessing/magic spell. The player knows not what this is about, nor what the spell does. The Green Rider will approach the player again, quickly though (like Lucien Lachance once you kill Ungolim), and explain a little, but not much. He will then give the player another small quest, this time to find the former Master's amulet. It is said that only the one chosen by Akatosh can find and wear the amulet, which is a test of worth. He hints that it is likely to be somewhere very high, where the Master would feel more comfortable and could survey the land. Those who have downloaded it know this place to be the Dragon's Roost on top of the IC Tower (already made, in beta; find it on TESnexus). When the player finds the amulet and note from the Master, the rider will approach again (upon exiting the Roost) and say simply to follow him. It is then revealed that he has a dragon also, green of course. The player must summon his/her dragon and fly after him. Of course, they will get a quest marker in case they get lost.

Sound good? Because even the Archmage knows nothing of this place.
