ihateregisteringeverywhere
Well, wikipedia says wyvern's a kind of a dragon. But most games I played that had both wyverns and dragons had them separated as different species. The dragons being the larger and stronger firebreathers and Wyverns being the more serpentlike poison users. To quote from the game Might and Magic 7: "Wyverns are not dragons". Triforce1
Enough of that WoW nonsense! It makes me SICK :yucky: !! Okay, I finally figured out how the hatchery should look. So here's the city at about 75% of the exterior complete.

dra6o0n
In this mod, you can have a war in the world between the Wyverns and the Dragons.Imagine being on an airship and all of a sudden you get attacked by Malacath's Wyvern Troops, The wyverns can float in the air like imps but moves as fast as a wolf, or even faster. Although... In the monster hunter series, Wyverns are pretty huge, and the Dragon in there is even bigger. EDIT: Does anyone want a variety of wyverns, like small and large ones? That way, small ones can work in groups like imps, and large ones can have riders on them.
Triforce1
All this talk of Wyverns is interesting. What exactly do they look like? I could google it, but I am too lazy. And yeah, Naminea, your Council Hall is now part of the big picture. Give me a couple more days to get all of the buildings added, and the you can go to town. Triforce1
Oh. A bit backward then, hmmm? But don't worry about showing me the Wyverns. As soon as I get a little farther along on the dragon I am attempting to create, I'll show you what it looks like. It is shaped similarly to the Akatosh mount, but is more serpent like with big claws.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
Well, as I've said, most pictures you would find on the internet basicaly depict wyverns as "armless" dragons so to say (so to say because we all know that wings have actualy evolved from front limbs). Usualy in a very serpent like maner and with a poison sting on its tail. A few nice examples would behttp://www.gaianar.com/Creatures/Images%20of%20Monsters/wyvern.jpghttp://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u312/Vile-I-Am/Wyvern_400.jpgThey're depicted mostly the same way in heraldy as well, so that should mean something. Oh and a tiny-little screenshot from one of the best games in history "Heroes of Might and Magic 3":http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u312/Vile-I-Am/wyvernhomam.jpg(The might and magic + heroes of might and magic serries contain mostly every mythical creature you can imagine, usualy depicting them in a rather "generalized" maner, so it's a good refference). In case you'd like the history behind the mythical creature you can read this.
Triforce1
Wow. I guess we might be using Wyverns then. The top right (colored) picture looks exactly like the dragon I am working with. As soon as I get a respectable distance along on the project I'll post a screen.
