moarx
I'm having the same issue, also using an AMD card. Seems to only be occur inside of caves/ruins, mostly likely due to some sort of lighting issue. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/613842195071837721/2C00DF540005C3E1B5C6EFEBF6DB2FD019076FA2/ Phenom II X4 965HD 5850 1GB6GB DDR3Win 7 64-bit Edited November 12, 2011 by moarx
moarx
Seems like the solution for now is to disable Oblivion's AA/AF and enable it via CCC/RadeonPro. http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1262234-an-important-performance-tip-for-pc-users/ edit: Actually, doesn't seem to have fixed it though it did increase my fps a bit. Vootins
Ditto on this exact problem with an AMD HD 6850. Tried the solution to not run AA/AF in Skyrim but force in CCC. No change.
Vootins
This problem has to do with the AMD driver for HD 6000 series and AA in Skyrim. I wrangled with Bethesda support for a while on this and the only solution I have found is to totally disable Anti-Aliasing. As I said above, the recommended forcing of this setting in CCC did not work for me (or other posters I have read on the web). Unfortunately, totally disabling AA can cause some pretty horrific jagged edges. I notice this on the edges of my swords and bows and wonder if a weird outline might be better. luxwing0go
I think you can fix that by changing the anti aliasing transparency in your GPU options (at least I can in my NVIDIA control panel)
Vootins
There was no setting for AMD drivers to fix this problem. However, the 12.1 preview drivers did fix it! Huzzah! Now I can have smooth edges and hand/weapons free of bluish-green outlines.
