Terralventhe
In terms of underwater dragons, I'm more partial towards the Styx Dragon from DnD:http://img11.nnm.ru/d/8/e/f/4/d131caf5469299a8002abe69526.jpg

xyks
Well once the construction kit is out, this will be one of the first mods to appear. Eventhough i prefer the idea of becoming one of those badass skyrim dragons you are totally srewed when it comes to dungeons/indoor enviroments scalewise. I mean as werewolf there are already doors(in shoips for example) that you can't pass. A dragon couldnt move indoors. And well thats pretty much where most of the game takes place... DesmondDentresti
I think the best I idea would be the Thu'Um to turn into a Dragon for 5 mins and if in flight when the change ends, you have the falling animation of the dragons untill you hit the floor..... due to the way everything is set to play as a human IE when they put your head on the block..... going through the middle of riverwood as a Dragon..... dont really see it happening. The creater would also have to set it so that there is no conversation while in Dragon form..... and obviously the guards would attack you as a Dragon and also I think If someone sees you change you should get arrested..... all this would make the most 'simplistic' while still realistic version..... you could just ignore me and go your own way...... and I'd advise that..... BinaryHe1ix
I haven't read the entire thread, my bad, but my initial thought would be that you could take on a human/elf form to interact with the 'regular people'. A'la World of Warcraft and such. I could definitely live with that - you could possibly still show some dragon-like aspects, like eyes with slits and slightly scaly skin, but for the most part would look like an elf or human. Then when you need to travel or fight you can use a power hotkeyed to Z to shift into dragon form. Honestly the hardest things I'm seeing are rigging a dragon for play by a PC and the transformation from human to dragon and back again. Even then, a lot of the animations are probably already in the game files somewhere and just need to be dug up and implemented. I'd love to see it though, flying about like a dragon would be epic! Vaktus
Simply using the console we have already gotten a working playable dragon with shout attacks. We still have yet to work out how to bind keys to scripts for flying and other Dragon attacks such as biting. But for the most part, we have a playable dragon working. Even without the Creation Kit, we're making progress.
Calexander
what about just a thing like with the companions but maybe paarthurnax or the greybeards are the only ones that can teach you? they can show you how to become a dragon (i think it would be more plausible to be a smaller than normal dragon, as the transformation would be too great for regular size)
