Where is the game music?

After some playing ingame, i quite noticed the music.

So i wanted to change/edit and listen to some. I proceeded to go to my Steam folder, Steamapps, Common and them Skyrim. Looked around everywhere. But no music in the folder?

All other Bethesda games like Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout NV have Music folders for Exploring, Battle etc.

And people on youtube have uploaded it. Where did they get the music?

You need one of the mod tools for Ob or fallout3 to extract BSA archives. I use FOMM.

if you don't have fallout3, you have to trick fomm into thinking you have it installed by making a random file called fallout3.exe.

i guess the next question is how one would load their own music in. these seem to be triggered by specific things in skyrim as opposed to being general "battle" or "explore" themes as they were in TES3 and 4

Amazingly enough it worked! But how does one insert music and stuff.

There are SO many files. And they aren't playable because apparently it's in wmx format or something.
