barthigi
They better release it soon, I'm almost as excited for the mods as I was for Skyrim :)
ImperialRM
They better release it soon, I'm almost as excited for the mods as I was for Skyrim :) Yeah, I await the same thing. I am finishing some 3D models in 3DSMax for a Castle that I want to construct in the CK for my personal use. Who knows, I might even share it. Renders coming up soon. JranZu
See here for more information (which right now there is not): http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1255750-information-on-creation-kit/ I think they are working on releasing the HD textures and directX10/11 support as well... Would be nice to see tessellation but I don't think that is planned for TESV

JranZu
A simple patch cannot add DX11 to Skyrim like that. And I doubt that Bethesda will release a HD texture pack. The reason? Read it here. The link you posted doesn't go anywhere. :( They already said they would be releasing a DX10/11 patch just for speed purposes... I can't remember which -- If I find the article I will post a link here, I just assumed they would release an HD pack at the same time because they did promise us something that was not a console port... Honestly on the HD pack I don't care because the community will come up with something better anyway, but they should do it for the non-modders out there... Wow... Bethesda should go through and choose out like the 10 best mods at the end of the year -- pay each modder $50K as a prize or something and then release it as their HD pack to the masses. gerbear1990
Wonder if The Construction Set will be able to create custom quests using the Radiant Story engine? That would be pretty cool :)
Kendo 2
Quote from Pete Hine's Tweet about the release of the construction kit. "Looks like their reach slightly exceeded their grasp and that means PC gamers will have to wait a bit longer to make all the characters nude." Obviously a console fan. Funny, the obvious contept for PC users. Well, at least BethSoft can can blubber to Microsoft and show they are supporting the 360 platform over the PC version. FoolyFooly
A simple patch cannot add DX11 to Skyrim like that. The DirectX11 API has been implemented in Skyrim but none of its features are used. All it would take is a patch from Bethesda to enable it. Wether or not they care is another story. Obviously a console fan. Funny, the obvious contept for PC users. Well, at least BethSoft can can blubber to Microsoft and show they are supporting the 360 platform over the PC version. Might have been funny if it wasen't true. Edited November 15, 2011 by FoolyFooly
