Load Loose Files not staying checked

A few of us were asking about this in another thread but I think it needs it's own topic. Every time I check "Load Loose Files" and go to okay, it seems to uncheck itself. If I go into the game, it's pretty clear that the mods aren't working. Is anyone else having this problem and has anyone found a solution?

Thats because you have no loose files to load. The data file selector is useless unless you have custom bsa files.

When I click on my .exe to launch skyrim, I dont get the usual window allowing me to see any possible esm or esp's window...which also would be where i would click on the "load loose files" box. is this a problem for anyone other then me. F3 and FNV both had this window pop up before the game started.

Don't double click on that exe. You want to start the launcher (should be another exe, or you can start through Steam)

I do know about the two dif exe files. What Im saying is that one of them starts the game immediately, while the other opens a small window that gives me

Play

Options

Data Files (this option is greyed out and Im unable to click it)

Tech Support

Exit

nowhere do i see a window that normally would show me my mods (if I had any) or to check the typical box "load loose files"

I've seen another guy with this problem (unless you're the same person from /v/). My only guess would be something to do with admin privileges. If you're not logged in as an admin, run the launcher as an admin.
