Not sure if this is the same or a similar problem but when I first started playing the game, the character I was creating had no eyes. This was fixed by updating my graphics drivers, try that.

I have this problem too but I get it after I fast travel or do anything else practically :) My eyes are fine on start-up. Also I have the latest Nvidia drivers and I'm set to auto update. I've noticed its just my char and not npcs. My son plays the game on an identical pc and he doesn't have the problem. He hasn't downloaded any new skin textures, so it could be those. Its an annoying bug and I hope someone can fix it or at least say for definite what's causing it.

Edit: Ive just removed my characters folder form textures and no more googley eyes.

I had a similiar problem. My characters eyes were pitch black and the eyes of all other characters were simply missing. I fiddled around with the meshes, textures and interface folders then, removed them entirely. Everything was fine then. I placed the 3 folders back into the data folder and still everything was ok again. Weird glitch....

alright, apparently it's a bug related to texture changes i.e., invisibility or anything that alters your appearance (sans like, clothes) The "fix" I've been using, is just rebooting over and over; alternatively you can wear a mask or the Nightingale hood until Bethesda fixes their game, or when the devkit comes out and our lovely modding community makes a fix for it.

Same problem for me. I talked about it here.

There is no way to solve the problem. But there is a way to fix it when it happens. You must refresh the appearance of the character and the only way to do this without leaving the game is from the console.

I use the command "player.setnpcweight XX" (XX number between 0 and 100). I always put the same number and I make the refresh of the character's appearance.

It's uncomfortable, so I did a script (more info). Now I write in the console "bat f" and the command is executed.

Then I made a macro on my G15 with keystrokes to execute the script (ºbat f <enter>º) and I have only to press G1 to refresh my character.

Same problem here. Happens after I turn invisible. Not sure what causes it yet - have no new eye textures and only new normal maps. Perhaps it's the maps...?

It can be fixed by opening the console and using the showracemenu code to bring up the character creation screen. Hit done, enter name and exit. You can even save before, open screen, load save and it's still fixed.

Still doing some research on it, prying through files. Looking for a sure fix.

EDIT: Normal maps don't affect it. It's something innate to the base game.
